I keep hearing about today’s Gallup poll that says Barack Obama holds a 9 point lead over John McCain - a lead which has been growing and growing. I hear mainstream media professional bloviators assure us the race is basically over.
Man. It doesn’t sound good for McCain - or me - I think. And then [...]

I’d like for everyone to take a minute or two out of the time spent arguing about who “won” and who “lost” the October 7 Presidential debate to consider this: we citizens all lost - - every one of us, Democrat, Republican, Independent, Liberal, Conservative, Moderate, and whatever; we lost because this wasn’t a Presidential debate in town-hall format, it was the Tom Brokaw Show.

John McCain is being saddled with the anger and fear of voters over the financial collapse, according to most polls. Up until this week, neither President Bush, Senator McCain, Governor Sarah Palin, or most Republicans bothered to respond to the repeated Democrat charges that this fiasco was the result of the “failed policies of the [...]

We’re all wondering where to invest our money these days. Everything is down and it seems we still haven’t seen the bottom. They say it will get worse before it gets better, and if Obama’s elected that will certainly be true. So what is an investor to do?
My advice is to sit tight until November [...]

Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones.

In a republic, representatives act on behalf of the people, hopefully acting on behalf of constituents instead of in their own private interests. The media should be an extension of a republican (with a small “r”!) system, acting on behalf of the public and posing probing questions to elected officials.
The mainstream media has in large [...]

Now would anything really be wrong with Obama’s beliefs? The fact that he has to hide them should tell you he knows he is pulling the biggest con running in attempting to become President of the United States. There is nothing wrong with his beliefs as long as he is open about them - it would be an interesting thing to have an open and avowed Marxist as the POTUS actually working FOR America, instead of what we will end up with if Obama becomes President, which is a closet Marxist working as POTUS to bring America down.

We are facing some serious economic problems in America today. They can not be explained in a sound bite. They can not be explained in thirty seconds or standing on one foot. The failure of huge investment firms has an explanation. Good intentions were written into law. The loans that were made by banks and [...]
