“Know-nothing parochial” Palin to “moose” Obama, HuffPo frets
Mouthpiece of Obama, he who hides behind women’s skirts, especially now, HuffPo frets: “Is Obama now going to let himself get moosed by a parochial Alaskan know-nothing because she’s a woman?” Well, yes.
Actually, Palin and McCain are going to “moose” — I’m just guessing here, but surely HuffPo meant just to defeat, though the unintended implication of such cutesy writing is violent and terminal — Obama and what’s-his-name? because the governor and figher pilot offer substance, service, commitment and hope to America.
But they don’t offer a smear machine, something Obama has, in spades — and that’s not a racial slur.
His keeps backfiring, though. Its ranks include malicious and frightened minions everywhere, including lefto-blogospherians such as HuffPo and, for example, Benjamin R. Barber. In ”Moosing Palin–Time to the Dems to Leash the Pitbull,” he gets pouty, mad at Palin, pumps up his testosterone up and unloads on her:
- “typical Republican values preaching hypocrite”
- “right-wing extremist”
- “a stranger to the world in which America must make its way”
- “a creationist” who “has little use of science”
- “not merely pro-life” but “a no-exceptions-never-mind-rape-or-incest pro-lifer”
- “far right-wing ideologue . . . who who shares the worst biases of the current administration in Washington”
- [McCain's] “snarling (or is that a smile?) running mate”
He also compares the governor to the pit bulls that disgraced NFL quarterback Michael VIck used in dog fights and then killed or help kill.
But he reveals why Palin is such a threat–and, thus, must be attacked, regardless of how: “How could a small-time Alaska mayor and first term Governor derail the Obama freight train? No it was not Sarah Palin but the extraordinary reaction to McCain’s wildly irresponsible decision to make her his running mate that seems to have paralyzed the Party.”
So there we have why Palin and McCain will “moose” Obama.
- First, McCain outfoxed them, by making a bold unconventional choice that then unified Republicans and conservatives.
- Second, the Demockacrats, liberals and leftists are paralyzed.
- Third, Americans identify with Palin. In “Palin floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee,” Willie Brown, former Democrat mayor of San Francisco, said about Palin’s convention appearance and speech: ”She didn’t have to prove she was ‘of the people.’ She really is the people.”
What Brown said of the governor cannot be said of the empty suit from Chicago or his running mate. So Obama, his campaign and the Demockacrats, clueless about how to deal with Palin, resort to all they know: shovel more execrable sleaze and malice.
Let’em. It’ll drive undecideds and more people from them to McCain-Palin. “Moosing,” I think it’s called.

What’s real sad here is the fact that Obama enjoys the Fifth Column. It’s evident of the latest AP’s attempt to head off Palin as the McCain ticket and Republicans seek to define Obama and bring out his very questionable ties to his radical associates.
very good article.
Now that it is over, and the lipglossed pitbull’s know-nothing wing of the GOP has decisively lost , we can only read such frothing at the mouth editorials as “mr CKA”’s with amusement.
