Every allegation of the swift boat veterans for truth has been shown to be factually false. I investigated it, something which you apparently have not done. Here you have a presidential candidate (G.W. Bush) who has not only not seen a day of combat, but didn’t even bother to show up for his tours in the National Guard, criticizing a decorated war fighter, John Kerry.

“Swiftboating” is not, as you incorrectly say, a: “…verb for publicising inconvenient truths that tarnish an airbrushed picture….” It is instead a verb for fabricating lies to besmirch a person when you cannot argue the issues. The swtiftboat crowd has be repeatedly discredited by both the left and the right, so do your homework first before making such outrageous statements.

Swift boating has entered the lexicon as a verb for publicising inconvenient truths that tarnish an airbrushed picture. The tone in which it is uttered confers upon it an undeserved negativity. You would need a navy of swiftboats to keep up with Barack Obama
As far as issues go, he changes positions like a fashion model displaying the latest designer creations. Close examination of his agenda displays no substance. Only a pervasive stench

Hired? Wow quite an accusation.

John McCain hired member’s swift boat vets. A group he is on record speaking out AGAINST in the 2004 election.

But that is beside the point. People on both sides say what they want it is quite easy to separate what the candidate themselves are saying versus there supporters.
