9/11 Presidential Forum and “Cheating”

About the Author:  The Party of Kennedy is NOT the Party of Pelosi. The Democratic Party has radically degenerated into a socialistic and postmodern perversion of its former place in American political thought. In place of Judeo-Christian values they embrace secular humanism; in place of a strong national defense they embrace a reliance upon internationalism; in place of a strong family they embrace a radical abortion agenda that increasingly includes outright infanticide. I can't sit idly by and watch the culture war pass me by. It is time to choose sides. As Joshua 24:15 puts it, "choose this day whom you will serve." Polls have shown that the more committed one is to (any) religious belief, the more conservative one tends to be politically. One’s views toward religion profoundly affect one’s commitment to political, social, and moral issues. In my articles, I seek to argue in favor of a religion-friendly view of culture, morality, and politics. Read more from this author

After the Saddleback forum, liberals came unglued over charges that John McCain “cheated.”

McCain did so much better than Obama; for me, that Saddleback event was the beginning of the hinge upon which this election has turned.

So we come to this second forum - the “9/11 Presidential Forum” - and we find that:

- The event was held at Columbia - a school so crazy-to-the-left liberal that ROTC has been banned for years, while Ahmadinejab was invited.  Columbia, by the way, was also Barack Obama’s alma mater.  We might agree that this wasn’t exactly a “neutral location.”

- The panel came from Time Magazine (Barack Obama: “Time’s Man of the Year”) and PBS’ “Newshour” with Jim Lehrer (do I even need to say anything?).

- The questions were clearly asked from a liberal perspective (if only I had a nickel for every time I heard the word “AmeriCorps” come up).

- John McCain went first.

- Barack Obama acknowledged in a question that he listened to John McCain’s answers.

Prediction: in spite of all these strikes against him, John McCain will do well, and the McCain campaign will not complain about how unfair the event was.

And this is the guy who once said he’d debate McCain “anywhere, anytime”?

Obama wouldn’t know a true debate if one slapped him up side the head.

That said, it appears that the Obama MSM will know do ANYTHING IMAGINABLE to load the game in His Inexperiencedness’ favor.

    These fascists must be stopped.

    CKA,
Interestingly, you use the word “fascism.” I have come to realize - based on my study of fascism (I wrote a three part series on the topic at startthinkingright.wordpress.com) that fascism is merely the political expression of postmodernism. And - while many Democrats are NOT postmodernists, the leadership of the Democratic Party and the base of the Party are clearly postmodernists.

Fascism is not “right wing.” It is a form of socialism (NAZI was an acronym for “Socialist German Workers Party”). And Adolf Hitler said he would let his dogs urinate on the American Constitution. If Nazism was “conservative,” one must explain just what it was that Nazism was trying to “conserve.”

The abandonment of orthodox religious belief; the view that government “shapes” cultures, which in turn shape the individual; the division of people into groups and sub-groups; the abandonment of truth in favor of deconstructionists uses of language; all these things characterize postmodernism - and the Democrats are actively pursuing all these things.

Angel, I hope your experience at Ground Zero (I presume the WTC site) was deeply moving. I have never been there; but would love to go - and weep over both the hatred and the love that was shown that day.
