I really thought this had run its course; but I was overconfident. This may be the last one, but it’s certainly not the least, because today’s winnah is Mr. Sweetie himself - -

Barack Obama!
The man himself gets the coveted “Piggy” for his “lipstick-on-a-pig” remark, made at a campaign appearance yesterday. Oh, I know, his mouthpieces deny that he meant what he said and claim that it is simply a reference to “policies.” Yuh. Well, as it happens, Lebanon, Virginia, is in my bailiwick, so I asked an Obamaphile of my acquaintance who was there: who did you think Obama was referring to when he made the “lipstick-on-a-pig” remark? The answer, without missing a beat: “Palin.”
Now, I have a question - - is Barack Obama still running for President? Because he seems to be locked in a life-and-death struggle with the Republican candidate for VICE-President. Like the rest of the country, he can’t talk about anyone else.
And here’s your award, Barack:

There was a double whammy for Obama in that speech! He called Sarah Palin an “old fish” which is a derogatory term for an older woman and refers to a certain part of her anatomy! I just posted an article about this. But, I love your ongoing series exposing the Dems for what they truly are!
He is saying it is a made up controversy….saying it is a made up thing by the republicans……

Straighten me out here. When McCain uses the phrase “lipstick on a pig” referring to Hillary Clinton’s health care plan that’s fine, but when Obama refers to the same old Republican policies as “lipstick on a pig” suddenly it’s personal? McCain has become Palin’s lapdog since she declared dominance. She does all the talking and he stands there smiling and nodding. Has he stopped running for President? He should stop hiding behind her skirt and come out and mix it up like a big boy.

Actually, context means a lot, and in context it was taken by those attending the Obama rally to refer to Palin.
And if I were John McCain, I’d do exactly what he has been doing. Everyone in the Obama campaign, supporters and co-conspirators included, needs to read my post, “When You Feel The Pain In Your Foot, Stop Pulling The Trigger.” But it seems like they just can’t help it . . . doesn’t it?
Unfortunately today’s award should probably have been a tie as the head of the SC Dems just said that Palin’s only qualification was not having an abortion. Perhaps that can be tomorrows.
Is the Dem. party in self-destruct mode? If they can’t even handle the announcement of Sarah Palin, how in the world can they handle terrorists, financial reversals, or the oil crisis?
For everyone out there rankling at the injustice of the “lipstick on a pig” dustup - - where were you when Obama and his campaign officially LIED about John McCain not knowing how many houses he owned? You, and Barack Obama, and everyone at Obama Central knew that (1) that was not the question asked and (2) that was not the answer given. But Obama had no hesitation about lying about it (just like when he lied about McCain wanting to be at war in Iraq for another 100 years) and his supporters had great fun with it. Now, Obama is being taken to task for something he DID say, and he just can’t stand it! What a wuss! What a wimp! What happens when, say, Vladimir Putin calls him a wussy-bum . . . is he going to pout and sniffle and sulk? If he can’t take it, he shouldn’t have been dishing it out. Okay, how’s this for fair: I’ll take back everything I said on the “lipstick” business the moment Barack Obama apologizes to John McCain for the how-many-houses lies he told. Fair enough? And if not, why not?
