As Obama Numbers Sink, He “Outsources his Polls to Voters from China to Kenya
In a figurative sense, the Obama campaign has now tapped foreign troops to win the polls leading up to the November elections. According to the BBC, citizens of twenty two countries overwhelmingly favour Barack Hussein Obama to be America’s next President.
The poll included citizens of China, Egypt , Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. It raises interesting questions.
Is it not absurd that 22,000 voters represent three billion people in an accurate demographic cross section?
How do you get a demographic cross section in India, a country with twenty two official languages?
How free is the flow of information in China among its one billion people?
In many countries, American elections are a dim backdrop. Regional politics play far more prominently on a day to day basis worldwide than American elections in most of the world.
The political centre is further to the left in most of the world than it is in America. An Australian questioned in this questionable poll will equate his country’s Labour Party with the Democrats in America and vote accordingly. Most democracies overseas vote for aparty rather than a person. This is because in most systems overseas, the Prime Minister is elected by multiple parties in parliament.
The BBC would do far better to take the pulse of America, as its own legendary Alistair Cooke did so ably for many decades. They make themselves look foolish, and Obama look desperate when they troll China , India and the Phillipines for poll numbers that reflect favourably on Obama.
World wants Obama as president: poll
US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.
All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.
In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins.
More than 22,000 people were questioned by pollster GlobeScan in countries ranging from Australia to India and across Africa, Europe and South America. …………………..

I would be glad for Obama to become the president of either China or Russia.
Hey as an Italian I DON’T want Obambi as the next president of the US….why don’t ship him to Kenya or Indonesia?
obama should just go back to kenya. once people find out he is not even an american citizen, they are going to ship him back with a ‘NO RETURN’ sticker right on his mouth.
