Did Barack Obama wear a Freudian slip under his trousers Sunday morning?
In an interview Sunday with ABC’s “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos, Obama tried to suggest that FOX News and others “closely allied” to Republicans are promulgating the notion that the Illinois senator is Muslim.
Asked about whether McCain himself has done anything to suggest he’s [...]

Oprah Winfrey has built a stellar reputation for personal generosity and good works. She has built a school in South Africa for disadvantaged children. From a McCain Democrat’s Journal, September 8, 2008
There is no doubt that John McCain and Sarah Palin have gotten a “bounce” in the public opinion polls. The questions are, how much is this bounce, really? And, how long will it last?

According to a new Politico Story Barack Obama disclosed that he had once considered serving in the military. Not to be out done by that Old War Hero, Barack decided to whip up a story about “how he thought about it.”
AND we all thought Biden’s mouth would be a problem !

In every matchup, private religious schools do better than public schools in graduation rates, achievement and of course, crime rates. In the inner city, many parents want the values taught in Sunday school to be taught during the week as well. The effect of this extends far beyond the time spent in religious instruction.
What does [...]

In the new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote. The survey of 1,022 adults, including 959 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/— 3 points for both samples.

“Al I ever really needed to know I learned on the basketball court,” Gov. Sarah Palin has said.
“‘I know this sounds hokey,” she told an interviewer in 2006, “but basketball was a life-changing experience for me.’ The problem for today’s feminists is that the life lessons Palin learned from basketball have made her their biggest [...]

I found the following discussion about the treatment that Gov. Sarah Palin has received since she was announced as John McCain’s Vice President incredibly insightful. It was broadcast on the September 5, 2008 “Hannity and Colmes” program on Fox News.
The participants are conservatives Sean Hannity, Bay Bucanan, and liberals Alan Colmes and Kirsten Powers. Kirsten [...]

A few days ago I wrote an article titled, “Sarah Palin: Enter the Happy Conservative Warrior.” My point was that the choice of Sarah Palin as John McCain’s Vice President has unified and energized the party as it has never been in my voting lifetime, right when we need it most.
Now I find that Newt [...]

Can you define “hypocrite”?
According to Merriam-Webster:
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings
With that in mind, let us tune in to Barack Obama’s attack against John McCain today:
“Don’t be fooled,” Obama told the crowd [...]

Why does big media think everyone else is stupid? Time, reporting on the McCain campaign’s complaint of bias in the media, has this:
But there’s more to the McCain campaign’s claims of bias than numbers or narratives. Complicating the debate is the metastasis of informal, and unreliable, information sources online. As soon as the Palin pick [...]

As bitterly opposed as I am to Barack Obama’s candidacy for President, I just don’t have it in me to create heinous stories about the Obamas’ two daughters, or try to destroy the Obamas’ as parents (has anyone mentioned that Michelle Obama has been a “working mother” too?).
Apparently, that’s why I’m a Republican, and not [...]

Bill O’Reilly has long-said that NBC News is the most liberal and corrupt news organization in the country, and that its spin-off MSNBC is a disgrace.
Recent evidence proved that Dr. “No Spin” knew what he was talking about.
A fascinating exchange between “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart and NBC anchor Brian Williams - and the [...]

From A McCain Democrat’s Journal, September 8, 2008.
On the Intrade Prediction Market in Ireland, real people bet real money on just about everything, including the 2008 Presidential Election. For much of the race since early June, Intrade buyers have given Barack Obama a 60-65 percent chance of winning, while McCain has been in the 30-40 [...]

I’d like to discuss some themes brought up by Tbascom’s post, Sarah Palin - Feminist For Life!. I have always taken my pro-choice position for granted. This election however is increasingly challenging my views on pro-life vs pro-choice. 30yrDem-notanymore at McCain Democrats wrote what I thought was a very courageous post, in a sense coming [...]
