Last Day To Contribute Directly To McCain-Palin ‘Primary Campaign’

Polls have shown that the more committed one is to (any) religious belief, the more conservative one tends to be politically. Sarah Palin is a trailblazer and a reformer. As the first female governor of Alaska, she challenged a corrupt system and has been a tireless advocate for reform - passing a landmark bill on ethics reform. She has taken on the old politics in Alaska and reformed the state’s energy industry. She rejects wasteful pork barrel spending. After today (August 31) we will have to send our campaign contributions to a joint RNC-McCain fund called VICTORY 2008. This is the last day to send money for the primary campaign. I admit I am not certain how this works, but my understanding is that the public financing rules limit how the money can be used. So the money up to today is more “elastic.”
I wasn’t intending to donate to the McCain campaign (I was rather just planning to give to the best 527 “attack” ad’s fund). But Sarah Palin’s pick motivated me enough to really stand up.

FYI: When I was going through the steps to contribute, there was a line that read: “Were You Referred by a Friend.” I checked the “yes” box and typed in “Sarah Palin Selection.”

Excellent choice for VP! Sarah Palin’s experience as a mother, mayor and governor is not matched by the other ticket. Her perspective is a valued addition to John’s inside knowledge of Washington. We need to reform and revitalize our government to return to it being a servant of the people, not the caretakers.

Did you know she cut the reliance of federal earmark money from $800 to $295 a person? That’s like a 63% reduction - in a little over a year!
And the media is trying to turn that against her by focusing on how many earmarks are still there. It takes a little TIME to clean house, but she has thrown out a lot of trash already!
BTW,
You can STILL contribute to the McCain campaign, and I hope every conservative does. This election is more important than any this nation has had since the time a Republican named Abraham Lincoln ran against a Democrat named Stephen Douglas.
