RedState.com’s absentee’s Diary videos former Nat. Chair of the DNC, Don Fowler, as he chuckles about a hurricane hitting New Orleans just at the time President Bush is to speak Monday at the RNC. …”that just demonstrates God’s on our side,” he says. Congressman John Spratt of South Carolina allegedly was the other side of the conversation.

There’s more than just the video. Read it at RedState.

  • This is so typical. Will the MSM broadcast this little tidbit? Doubtful.

  • No they won’t show it, but it’s not conjecture. If this was a Republican, it would be everywhere.

  • Michael Eden says:

Wait a minute. They’ll HAVE to show it!

After all, when a Christian conservative group made the suggestion that they were praying for rain on Obama’s temple event night, they broadcast that - and responded with indignation!

I mean, I mean, if they don’t broadcast the Dems praying that God wipe out thousands of people in a cataclysmic natural disaster just to ruin the Republican Convention, that would be … biased.

Apparently, it’s okay to pray for a disastrous hurricane. As long as you don’t do anything REALLY blasphemous like pray for raindrops to fall upon The Obama.

  • MonkeyCrash says:

I heard an interview with Michael Moore and he claimed that perhaps the “irony” of the hurricane may prove that there is a God. I can’t stand that guy!

  • Carl Andrews says:

Wait a minute. God sending a hurricane to disrupt the RNC? Don’t the Dem’s realize that would be a violation of the seperation of church and state?
Funny how the lib’s only invoke God when it suits their purpose.

  • MonkeyCrash, I’m seeing lots this morning about MM but not a single word about Don Fowler, Former DNC chair. Amazing.

  • Carl, excellent point - a funny point, but a real one.

  • Michael, I think Fowler didn’t pray for it. He believes God is doing it on his own - prayer needed, taking on the Republicans and carrying the Democrat mantle. And he laughed about it.

  • Wolfsfire says:

Wow, I like the band-aids on his hand. Looks like he needs another IV to pump some heart and warmness into his reptilan soul. Laughing about a hurricane that could cost americans there lives, hmm if I was a bettin man…I’d be willing to bet he won’t be standing before a God when he takes a dirtnap. These are not the kind of people that should be running anything over a Piggly Wiggly.

  • I don’t believe anyone will take that bet, Wolfshire.

  • Wolfsfire: He’s a miserable soul. He apologized and then smashed the videographer as a right-wing-nutcase. He worked on Hillary’s campaign, and I guess now on Obama’s.
