Well spoken and tough as nails, Palin is the young, female maverick version of McCain. She would be considered somewhat liberal on some issues, but not those that are most dear to conservatives. She is pro life and a terror at controlling wasteful spending.
Palin has been my choice for months.

All I know is she’s not very experienced.. she’s admitted to past drug use.. and she’s a beauty queen (that’s REAL celebrity). 3 things that Obama has been repeatedly attacked on. Maybe that nonsense will end.

Of course it’s stepping outside the box. She is the first female on a Republican ticket. She is more experienced than Obama and much less frightening.
I’ve been rooting for this pick for awhile now but never thought it would happen. I’m actually more excited this morning than I was watching Obama’s big speech last night.

Sarah Palin is a game changer. She has more executive experience than Barack Obama and Joe Biden put together. She is a tough fighter for government reform. She is not an old line, inside the beltway, good ole’ boy politician. She can pick up the disaffected Hillary supporters big time. McCains choice may play out to have been a brilliant move.
I can’t wait to see the debate between her and Biden. If he attacks her too agressively it will blow up in his face. I predict she will eat him alive.

Conservative Guy…It’s so funny the Obama campaign is currently sending out surrogates to skewer Palin on foreign policy, as though Obama is not an absolute FP nightmare.

The more they pound on Sarah Palin’s inexperience, the more they are inadvertently pounding away on Barack Obama’s inexperience.
Sarah Palin had more useful experience as a PTA leader than Obama got his whole career, methinks.
This woman is smart, exciting, attractive, tough, and she will fight like a mother for the right thing.
to break down her speech.. I counted 24 attacks on Obama last night. Didn’t mention healthcare once. Her only mention of the economy was an attack on Obama’s tax plan (which buy the the way will save me over $700 a year more than McCain’s plan and won’t burying the country in debt). She had very little to say about education and many of the biggest issues facing the country.. there were a lot of false accusations as well. Nobody wants to “forfeit” in Iraq or Afghanistan.
This campaign is right in line with current Bush policy.. what kind of “reform” is that??

Palin doesn’t have to talk policy. That comes tonight. Palin has to let everyone know she’s for real, which by hitting lightly on a lot of different issues she showed. You do know that McCain has a huge healthcare plan that does almost the same thing as Obama’s, right?
The idea that Obama won’t bury the country in debt is astonishing. I read that line about 8 times to make certain I understood it.
