I think that they are going to have Carter focus on his "habitat for humanity" stuff and completely leave out his "wisdom" on foreign policy. But I don't see how you can look at Carter and NOT see the poster child for liberal weakness and failure in foreign policy. I've come to have the attitude toward Israel of "the canary in the mine." He will create lots of problems for Obama. He has nothing to offer except for memories of the bad old time-much worse then now-and the elevation of antisemitism to the national political stage.
