I don’t know about Chicago, but where I live terrorists are shunned. Even if a bomber lived or worked in close proximity, we’d probably shy away. Another thing I’m most certain of is that if a Republican Presidential candidate was buddies with a terrorist the cable news networks would have the story on a 24 hour [...]

MSNBC has a poll: “Should the motto “In God We Trust” be removed from U.S. currency?”
Yes. It’s a violation of the principle of separation of church and state.
No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion.
As of my visit, there were 6594785 responses.
Obviously, the “No” response has a [...]

Just quickly before I leave town for the weekend, I would like to send prayers and call attention to the tragedy in Pakistan. The nearly 70 lives taken by suicide bombers this morning were merely ordinary, every day folk simply trying to make a living. Those killed and the more than 100 injured were workers [...]

According to a new article on Politico, Hillary Clinton has never even been contacted, even as a courtesy call, by the Obama team regarding the Vice Presidency.
Obama has often said, most recently on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on July 27, that Clinton “would be on anybody’s short list.”
But apparently not his.
“She was never vetted,” a [...]

Barack Obama opined that China is the place to be, and that with its massive spending on infrastructure, etc., corporations should regard it as a good option. His statement betrays an incredibly stupid - and incredibly amoral - fundamental misunderstanding of both the economy and the world.

Barack Obama’s supporters marvel at his “thoughtful” and “nuanced” answers to questions such as “at what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?” But Barack Obama’s voting record reveals the most vile position imaginable - a view that is so immoral that it is even condemnable by the most liberal pro-abortion position.

John McCain is being blasted for not knowing how many houses he owns (turns out seven). But most of those homes are actually owned by Cindy McCain, and some are technically owned by LLCs. Maybe Barack Obama can use some of his famous “nuance” to understand that? Apparently not. We have in the attacks on John McCain another example of the hypocrisy that defines liberals.

As we approach the major-party conventions, the Gallup organization has published “Gallup’s Quick Read On The Election,” which makes some interesting (and some obvious) points. Some considerations, according to Gallup:
- - The Democrats have a “structural” election advantage and win on generic ballots for both President and Congress; nonetheless, Barack Obama has led John [...]

For those of us who continue to be suspicious of what Barack Obama is not telling us about himself, those suspicions were brought into sharp focus last Sunday, the day after the Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency. Obama hit San Francisco in the late afternoon for a fundraiser with a crowd of about 200 [...]

Chaim Rumkowski was a wealthy Polish Jewish industrialist. He achieved his greatest fame (or infamy) in his capacity as head of the Lodz Ghetto. Before he himself was deported, his job was to come up with successive quotas of Jwish men for “labour assignments”, which were really one way tickets to concentration camps. He rationalised [...]

Not only did we get an independent group coming out with an excellent attack ad today, but the McCain team has responded with an ad that trumps all the lies coming from the Obama camp this week. As we all know, Obama has a bit of a house issue, himself.

After a wackowalked into a church in Knoxville, TN, and opened fire, the MSM responded with a barage of articles asking the tough question, Is it safe to be a liberal? After today’s news that two McCain campaign headquarters were evacuated with 19 hospitalized after threatening letters with white powder were received, I think it’s [...]
