MoveOn.Org gave up its 527 status in June to campaign full-time for Barack Obama. As John McCain has gained in the polls, the movers at MoveOn.Org have become worried at Obama’s chances and now have published a video (and fund-raising plea) which acknowledges that a 2-point swing in key states could put McCain in the White House.

The link below takes you to the video on the MoveOn.Org which sets forth the concerns and maps out a strategy for supporting Obama.  WARNING: The video contains left-wing propaganda and should not be viewed by the faint of heart!

Count me among the faint of heart. I’m just taking your word for it.

I was not aware that George Soros’s organization had given up it’s 527 status. I have no need to go view the web site; I have seen enough hate-politics from the Democrats to last me for a long, long time.

They did, Bill, a few weeks ago - at least this is how LA Times described it. I think that they entered in a kind of hibernation, though - they’re BAAAAACKKK!

I was surprised to learn, among other truths in the video, that the liberal media support McCain more than Obama and that although it is true that Obama did receive more coverage, his recent coverage has been overwhelming negative.

  • jack says:

thanks–these people are really on mars—the media is helping McCain—and Obama’s coverage is negative–if McCain had said some of the delusional insane things Obama has said and McCain refused to debate or discuss–the press would have eaten him alive on their altar–I remember a think tank in the last election that estimated that the slant of the press can give a candidate over 10% advantage—with all the advantages the left has the fact that they haven’t put it away shows how BAD their message and ideas really are

I’m too faint of heart, too.

I agree with Jack on why the media are negative (to the extent that they are) with Obama. He’s said one stupid thing after another, and his positions have been so far out of touch with the voters its unreal (which is why he’s tried to move so far to the right in complete reversal of how he got the Democrat nomination).

The 527 status issue is similar to Obama’s reneging on his promise to accept public financing: these people think they can buy the election with massive advertising.

A media-created candidate candidate built on money like no politician before: change you can believe in.
