Oh Barry! Oh Barry! Oh let it be true!
Celebrities, windsurfing, chemical suits colored blue!
An abundance of blunders, it’s a bloggers dream.
Reuse and recycle, why look we’ve turned green.
Swiftboats and flip flops will make a come back.
If you morons don’t study you’ll be stuck in Iraq.
Oh Barry! Oh Barry! Please pick John Kerry!

MoveOn.Org gave up its 527 status in June to campaign full-time for Barack Obama. As John McCain has gained in the polls, the movers at MoveOn.Org have become worried at Obama’s chances and now have published a video (and fund-raising plea) which acknowledges that a 2-point swing in key states could put McCain in [...]

For the historically literate, the picture of Eastern Europe today is disturbingly reminiscent of the view circa 1939. That was the year that Nazi Germany - having provided pseudo-justifications based on staged provocations - invaded first Czechoslovakia and then Poland. Throughout the entire period leading up to these military invasions, the Western world weakly stood [...]

I have recently been surprised at the number of Democrats who have essentially said, “Country before party.”
These are people who think differently than I do about a lot of things. They want things that Democrats have wanted for decades (a big government that provides myriad social support structures, a focus on workers’ rights, a wariness [...]

In April 2003, 76% of Americans supported the war in Iraq, and only 21% were opposed. Nearly 60% of Democratic Senators voted for the Iraq War Resolution. And comment after comment from virtually ALL the Democratic leadership agreed with that the war was fully justified. What we have seen since has been one of the greatest acts of cowardly political backstabbing in American history. How can liberals justify themselves for their betrayals in Iraq?

Much as Xerxes’ Persians blotted out the sun with their arrows against the 300 Spartans, presidential candidates are making it hard to see the political fight through an endless launch of trial balloons regarding their choices for Vice President. Every now and then, one of these balloons pops right after takeoff and rains trouble down [...]

What is an ideologue? It is a person who will ignore or deny a body of facts that threaten his personal or political philosophy. Every day I seem to run into this willful blindness. Here are some of the questions I ask every day.
Companies spend millions of dollars on advertisements based on proven evidence that [...]

I don’t suppose they even tried to use The Beatles song. Better just to go ahead and scrap that from the beginning.

After having to pull previous versions of this ad due to demands from musicians with mental problems, the McCain campain finally has found a song to put in the video. The constant assault on conservatism from the mainstream media and Hollywood is difficult to overcome. If you have considered giving to the McCain campaign to help [...]
