This has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Barack Obama and the Democrats announced they “strongly back a woman’s right to carry a pregnancy to term.” Are they saying they were against a woman’s right to carry a pregnancy to term? Were they for forced abortions before they were against them? Well, thank [...]

While Barack Obama has been basking on the beach in Hawaii, John McCain has continued campaigning and may have benefited by that, and by the candidates’ responses to the Russian attack on Georgia. The tracking polls for August 14 came in as follows: Rasmussen Tracking, Obama +1; Gallup Tracking, Obama +3. Both polls showed a [...]

Here in Knoxville, Heath Shuler was never known for his cerebral abilities. He was liked for his strong arm and foot speed. Later, during his short NFL career, he was not even liked for these physical attributes. That left him open to criticism about the rest of his shortcomings, and his brain was often mentioned at [...]

With Nancy Pelosi flopping about on offshore drilling, now is probably a good time to continue to remind congressional Republicans of a few things, particularly the Cowardly Five. I could just end this post with, “Don’t be a bunch of nitwit pansies”, but I’ll go ahead and expound on the issue.
This will not be a [...]

China won its major makeover. Like Berlin in 1936, a country with major public relation problems has scored a propaganda coup. The colonisation of Tibet, forced abortions as part of its one child policy and harsh repression of religious minorities such as the Falun Gong have faded into a mere backdrop of the Olympic platitudes [...]

Obama says supporters MUST perform six hours of VOLUNTEER work in order to receive tickets to his nomination speech. The sort of mind-numbing logic you’d get during Mao’s Cultural Revolution. With Obama’s plans, NOTHING is free. Next there will be the mandatory volunteer self-criticism sessions, in which the proletariat are called upon to stand and tell their groups all the ways that they have failed their beloved party and their beloved great leader Obama.

The next time you hear someone say America is wrong for using so much energy, just think of Michael Phelps. He consumes 12,000 calories a day. That’s a lot of energy. Is he immoral? If you judge him by the standards liberals judge America, he is. Liberals would focus on the fact that his consumption is far too high for world standards (he’s eating more in a day than many children in the world eat in a month!). Conservatives want to focus on the fact that Phelps is an incredible producer - just like the country he is representing in these Olympic Games - and his energy consumption is a necessary requirement for his production.

Barack Obama, continuing his tradition that patriotism means disassociating yourself from any vestige of the American flag, intentionally had the large American flag removed from his campaign jet in favor of his “O stands for Obamanation” (rhymes with “abomination”) symbol.
