Initially, 67% of voters didn’t have enough information on Sarah Palin to have any opinion whatsoever. But after the rush of media coverage, 53% now have a favorable opinion of her, versus only 26% with an unfavorable opinion, said Rasmussen.
The most important quote:
“Palin earns positive reviews from 78% of Republicans, 26% of Democrats and 63% [...]

The McCain-Palin campaign sent the following appeal:
My Friends,
I am honored to announce that I have chosen Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska as my choice for the Republican nominee for Vice President. As a father with three daughters, I can’t express how proud I am to choose the first female Republican Vice-Presidential nominee.
Sarah Palin is [...]

I remember coming across a way to keep the perennially dumb occupied. You simply wrote, “See other side” on a card and hand it to them.
That’s the way liberals are when it comes to America and foreign policy.
Liberal foreign policy consists in two ideas:
1) It is wrong for the United States to ever act unilaterally [...]

Let’s not shade our differences and pander.
Republicans are definitely not pro-abortion, though quite a few are just adamantly against late-term and post-term abortion.
Republicans are not in favor of affirmative action. We think everyone was born equal and can go wherever they want to go and reach wherever they want to reach. Democrats think you need a hand. [...]

Moveon.org and all of the usual suspects have jumped all over the Sarah Palin nomination. As usual, they are viewing the electorate as a series of ethnic, religious and interest blocs that need to be won over as if they were states. The fears and concerns of each group are played upon and manipulated, if [...]

The lead has shrunk again to 48 Obama, 42 McCain. Gallup has the wildest swings of any of the daily tracking polls and Obama was on his way to a huge lead. Ever since the announcement of Palin as McCain’s running mate, that lead has been evaporating.
More once the figures are published…
Update: Here is a [...]

While the hardcore Obama idiots and mainstream media try to give the impression that Palin was a terrible choice and that all of America is going to now turn away from McCain, the reality is that a sort of Palin mania is going on. Gone is the big DNC convention bump. Present is a nation of [...]

Atheists, Secular humanists, and scientific materialists constantly claim that they have science on their side, and that science invalidates religion and belief in God or the soul. But Immanuel Kant proved well over 200 years ago that the premises these thinkers rely upon are fundamentally irrationally.

Newsweek isn’t a completely in-the-tank-for liberals biased bullpoop rag. They represent “legitimate journalism.” Well, that’s the claim, anyway.
Of course, what passes for “legitimate journalism” often looks like the piece that recently emerged from the tiny little ideologue brain of Jacob Weisberg.
Here’s a representative sample:
But let’s be honest: the reason Obama isn’t ahead right now is [...]

Tonight the Mets displayed what can only be described as the most unadulterated, complete act of selflessness I have ever witnessed. It was a joy to behold!
Their opponent, the Florida Marlins, in third place and six games back had found a way to battle it out and tie the game.
It was the bottom of the ninth, the score was 3-3. The [...]

Sarah Palin is WAY more than a pretty face. She is a courageous, devoted, wise, and tough-when-necessary, gracious-when-not woman who does not suffer fools, frauds, or felons lightly

RedState.com’s absentee’s Diary videos former Nat. Chair of the DNC, Don Fowler, as he chuckles about a hurricane hitting New Orleans just at the time President Bush is to speak Monday at the RNC. …”that just demonstrates God’s on our side,” he says. Congressman John Spratt of South Carolina allegedly was the other side of [...]

Barack Obama knows how to deliver a speech well. But, in all seriousness, a good delivery doesn’t make the message delivered any more true than if it is poorly delivered. And the very worst liars are often enough the very best talkers.
According to FactCheck.org, Obama “stuck to the facts except when he stretched them.” I [...]

Angry Obama supporters were asked to contact WGN’s 720 Extension radio talk show en masse to encourage the station to drop an interview with Stanley Kurtz, a National Review Online contributor with new information on Barack Obama. The show went on.
No secret now, why the Obama Campaign is desperately trying to silence [...]

Scared, confused and hurt is the only way to describe the hardcore Democrats and mainstream media today.
Suddenly the party of diversity thinks a woman is a cheap political ploy. Given that most of the people I love are women, I don’t believe I could be more insulted even if I were the other gender. And [...]

Democrat strategist and CNN commentator Paul Begala claimed that John McCain’s choice of Vice President is “shockingly irresponsible” and suggested that McCain is “out of his mind.”
He suggested that Democrats would launch an all-out attack on that basis.
Good. Let’s make experience the issue. Let’s make this years’ Presidential election a referendum over who has the [...]

It actually appears to have taken a long course of thievery to reach to Texas Fred’s, but the poster stops here.
I’ll make you actually have to go over there to see it.

By its vicious, visceral reaction to Sarah Palin, the Obama campaign erased any lingering doubts about whether it used sexist attitudes to defeat Hillary Clinton. The attacks on Palin - - like those on Clinton - - are designed to create the impression that this person cannot be trusted with this responsibility. Clearly, however, the [...]

My little tomboy (sensitive, but still a tomboy) came charging into the world. She walked early. She talked early. As with most little ones, she felt she was the fastest, the strongest, the jumpiest, the danciest creature to grace the earth. From the age of two she had plans. Big plans. And Daddy was always [...]

John McCain ran a classy ad on the last day of the DNC congratulating Barack Obama on a job well done, referring to his acceptance of his party’s nomination. McCain was referring also to the 45th anniversary of the Martin Luther King “I have a Dream” speech. McCain was gracious [...]

Breaking news: Democratic talking points: being an involved mother and a member of PTA is an indicator of systemic stupidity and means you have a questionable background.
Perhaps the enlightened party needs to look a little more carefully at itself. Today’s news that Sarah Palin will be the Vice Presidential candidate for the Republicans has brought a [...]
