Okay.  Six weeks and one Presidential election apart.  Two articles reporting on two polls from the same source (CNNMoney): one titled “Poll: 60% say depression ‘likely’” and one titled “76% say Obama can fix economy - poll.”
Am I the only one who sees a contradiction?
Let’s backtrack a little bit.  Since election day, the Dow has lost 21% of its value, from 9625 on November 4 to today’s close of 7552.  It was 9525 on October 6, the day that 60% of Americans believed that a depression was “likely.”

Doesn’t everyone want to know where Obama was actually born? That way, when it comes time to build his presidential temple, er, library, we’ll know exactly where to do so. Isn’t that one reason the Supreme Court will discuss at a Dec. 5 SCOTUS conference a case concerning his citizenship ?
Maybe I’m wrong, though.

Africa, the Forgotten Continent, and Congo, its Most Tormented Nation

Not satisifed with already slicing and dicing Sarah Palin, former conservative and current cultural bigot Kathleen Parker now dumps on what she calls the “evangelical, right-wing, oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP.” And God? Why He’s a “great big problem,” the “gorilla in the pulpit.”     
In “Giving up on God,” published Nov. 19 in the Washington Post, she writes, “As Republicans sort out the reasons for their defeat, they likely will overlook or dismiss the gorilla in the pulpit. Three little letters, great big problem: G-O-D.”
